Description
Warning: Feels inducing, Aippaq be looking dumb and happy
All of his pota images are related to each other and I figured that a recent devastating event that happened in his pack would be great as a subject of his being alpha. See PoTA3: Lullay sweet prince to understand the story.
I hope these images and story would bring tears and touch your hearts as it did ours. I wish you a happy reading *hands out cakes for comfort*
Mood while drawing/reading this:
The chilly winds of the ridge of elders felt almost soothing against Sho’s aching body. He had travelled far to reach this summoning place. To ask, perhaps beg, for forgiveness. He felt as though death lingered over his every motive and he felt his chest tightening once more as he saw the snow dancing over the jutting rocky like peaceful spirits. The white wolf wandered close by Sho’s side and tilted his head with a mildly annoyed expression. So what are we doing in the middle of nowhere, Shorty? He taunted, expecting an answer but being met with silence as Sho dismissed him with a half hearted huff. You’ll see. His sore eyes raised up towards the dancing blue aurora that seemed to take form ahead of him, silencing his rather irritated companion.
You have come to receive your blessing? The blue creature had the form of a tokota in many respects except for the glowing eyes. What should have been unnerving felt warm to Sho as he nodded solemnly. His heart held a lot of hurt within it as he bowed down, which was quite easy as his body was already close to it. He had thought about how to formulate this question many, many times through his lonely nights travelling up here. He had told no one and the only contact he had was with Pup that never seemed to shut his gob that was now hanging wide open.
I want my pup back. He finally uttered the words that he had refused to even acknowledge for such a long time. Aippaq’s soft expression seemed to fall as they seemed to think of the best way to communicate with this poor broken being how little of a chance there was that they would get their dead back. I can give you a moment. The spectral being spoke, they seemed to pluck the squirming pup out of the stars as it floated. An entire galaxy seemed to reside in its black coat that had become white away from its earth bound form. Pup pinned his ears back as he had sunk into the snow with a look of awe at the little spirit. Urgh, my heart can’t cope with this much cute. He whined, trying to retain his ‘man card’ and not squeal at the adorable creature now half buried into Sho’s fur. The curly male was reduced to tears as he hugged its temporarily solid form in his grasp once it had finally landed.
A few soft sobs told Pup that the tokota he was bound to was, in fact, still alive. The way he grasped the little creature was heart breaking but Pup was determined not to cry. Hey, hey, man. It’s okay. He choked on his own words as he decided to participate in the cuddling as the little pup squeaked and licked its sire all over. In its earthly life it had never been taught to speak but, in these precious moments they had together, he communicated his love with small licks all over his sire’s muzzle as they wriggled and played.
