And I find the grass thing hilarious because I'm kinda a pyromaniac. XD No I haven't burned our house down yet (find the key word! xD).
I had planned on having it up without any shading at all, but the sketched muscles... They beckoned... I could not...resist! *sizzles* Anywho, I also left the faded sketch in there too.
P.S.
The grass (and ash that used to be grass) actually turned out pretty decent. xD This is I /think/ my first time ever trying fire. o.o If not, then either way I think it's pretty damn good. xD I've still got stuff to fix though, I'm so lazy. xD

Horses usually aren't my fav subject, and I normally draw them for other people, instead. But I like this concept! Nicely done.

Very nice. I love the all down the back mane very fun to draw. The coat is so pretty I just love those colours she looks like hot stone. This makes me want to draw my old flamey Unicorn character that I drew when I was around twelve or something. The anatomy looks really good and I like the faded under-sketch. Well done.

Yeah, this was the breed I was going to enter in both your and my friend's contest. It was originally supposed to be completely different, but I colored it in the same style that I had planned to color for my Fire Elemental equine, and now I'm sad because when I upload that FEE I'll feel unoriginal. XD
And I had a fire elemental character like this one a while back whne I was around the same age, never gave him a real story. I'll have to draw him. :3

Yes yes, we should both bring our characters back. Mine has a story because I used to write him into my books, maybe you can make a story for your's when you bring him back.

Oh, ee. It's a contest I'm entered in, by a great artist ( who I think needs more attention.
Basically, you have to make a Unique - Equine, and enter it in her contest. Not many entries so far, but I think it's a fun challenge to push your limits on both equine anatomy, and creativity.

wow, this is incfedible, i love the smoke coming out of the nostrils. grass is a bitch, yes. the last time i tried to draw it i pretty much disclaimed "it kind of looks like grass, so if you couldn't tell it was for sure, it is." you were a lot smarter to not draw too much of it
the coloroing on the horse is awesome, like "burnt" looking from the body down to the legs. and the conjoined mane/tail fire is the rocks.
