Description Prussia x Reader - Always Remember Me
__________________________________________________________________________________________

You sat on the sofa next to your boyfriend, Prussia. Both of you had game controllers in your hands and your eyes were trained on the screen. You were fully focused on the game so you were badly startled when Italy ran through the room, crossing in front of the T.V. and cutting off your vision. Within the short amount of time it took for you to regain your focus, Prussia had beaten you. You threw your hands up in the air in exasperation, letting the controller fall into your lap.

"Oh come on!" You cried out while Prussia laughed "I was winning too..." You pouted.

"Too bad, frau! The Awesome Me won!" He grinned and you mock punched his arm.

"This round, oh 'awesome' one. We're tied now." You pointed at the screen where it showed your matching overall scores.

"You're just a sore loser." He said, standing to do a little victory dance. You rolled your eyes but still laughed along with Prussia. You looked around the room aimlessly, waiting for him to calm down after his victory.

You spent quite a lot of time in this house now, you could clearly see the signs of both Prussia and his brother Germany. Even a few signs of Italy though he didn't here, he just spent a lot of time here like you did.

You looked back at Prussia as the ex-nation as he sat back down. "Hey Prussia..." you started, a thought coming to your head. "Do you miss it? Being a nation, that is." Your question seemed to catch him off gaurd and he looked serious for a moment.

"I get to play games all day now. I never have to go to meetings. There are no rules, no responsibilities...Of course I miss it." He sighed with a mock smile. "I miss the victories, the training. I live in my brothers basement now and I do nothing all day. Some say that this is the perfect life, but I grew up in battles and conquests. Living like this is boring now."

You put your hand on his shoulder, trying to think of a way to comfort him. He looked up at you and you saw sadness in his eyes where it had never been seen before. You realized just how sad and lonely he was. For such a powerful nation to be reduced to this was absolutely heartbreaking.

You looked down, trying to find the right words. "I'm sorry. They should have never done that. To destroy a nation just because you're so strong. Some of them were your friends too..." You trailed off.

"Hey, don't blame them." He said, making you look up. "I don't blame them. It wasn't their choice, it was their bosses. A country can't control what their bosses do. Trust me, I know all to well. As for me now...I'm just lucky I'm still alive." He smiled at you again, but it was a sad, broken smile.

Your heart broke looking at him like that. You tried to find something to say but before you could speak he spoke again, "_____, can you promise me something? Promise me, no matter what happens, you will always remember me. Don't let me fade away."

Your eyes watered and you leaned forward to hug him. "Of course." You whispered. "I promise." He slowly raised his arms and wrapped them around you.

"Thank you."
