Second of the two prizes for , so we continue from last week.
For this, it took me a while until the background came into picture, because there was a certain idea in my head for AOGasters new home on the surface. The idea was to bring in elements with a lot of different textures... rough fabric, smooth wood, struktures on the walls, such things. Also I liked the idea of making the place a bit smaller and cosy, yet with some tweaks here and there.
No idea if it would fit him though...
The scene itself was up to me, but it was suppose to play somewhen around evening time. So I took two sceneries in consideration and decided, after the first didn't really worked and seemed out of place, for a sunset-setting and cloudy sky. This way you can still have the beautiful display of color in the light and it wouldn't end up too bright.
Although... despite the fact that I actually like the result, but I can't shake the feeling that I have gone wrong here with the idea somehow... I dunno...

i love the curtain, and how it glows because if the light o.o i really adore see-throu things so much!! i should defenetly try using is more often! (i even have an idea when xD whoops? You made me thinking about a certain charakter design i was struggling with... if you remember?) Β

It does suit him tho, I already can see him falling asleep on this small place near the window (how do you even call it). The idea behind bringing textures are indeed awesome, considering his sensory deprivation. The place is colorful, definitely full of life and sounds from the outside. You did great with textures and everything

I honestly haven't been certain about this at first and took a while to decide on the style of the room.
Oh, btw. this little place on the window is something we call an 'Erker' in german (bowfront or alcove).
It's like a cosy niche people could indeed sleep in. You find these kind of niches in older houses often.

yeah, those have been in older houses. The house I'm living in also has none, but if I had the money to built a house on my own, I would love to have one as well.
