Description TAKE IT SLOOOOW XD, wat up dudez!!! I'm so sorry this took forever. It was tough but I finally got it done. Fuck rotten tomatoes, Suicide Squad kicked ass!!!!! So I obviously had to do a pic on it. Seriously, I'm blu-raying the shit outta that movie. I worked really hard on this one so if you bothered reading this far, I'd like to give a rundown on my time working on this picture.

Deadshot: He was among my favorites. Thanks to that good ol Will Smith charm he was likable, funny and badass all in one. That aside, I almost quit this cuz of him. I'm more adept at drawing more casual type stuff when it comes to clothing. Tactical gear ain't really my thing. On top of that, I kept going back and forth about whether or not he should have his mask on. So I had to simplify in many places to get through it all but still keep in touch with his design.

Katana: I have Katana to thank for keeping me from quitting. When considering throwing this pic away I accidentally did a surprisingly good job on her hair, couldn't go through with it after that lol. One thing I noticed in one of the trailers that she did this thing with her eyes. They'd go a ghostly jet black and I wanted to sort of emulate that in my own way. Kinda wish she did more in the movie but Imma always love a sexy sword toting samurai chick!!!!

Killer Croc: He was no problem. I'm pretty good at drawing musclely freaks of nature lol. But I already knew from the get go that there's no way I could capture the detail of his skin. Ain't at that level yet. But I did my best to show his inhuman qualities such as the spots on his face or the webbing in between his clawed fingers. Plus while drawing him, I noticed that I'm getting better at drawing faces. I love that I was able to capture his natural "grrr"

Captain Boomerang: They made me like Jai Courtney XD. Drawing Boomerang was relatively easy compared to everyone else. I usually have the eyes of my characters angled upward. I tilted his downward cuz it fits him better to me. Kinda like Space Dandy!!! Plus that unicorn sticker on his hat was a must. If you saw the movie you know dam well what I'm talkin bout.

El Diablo: El Di fuckn ablo was the best goddam character in the movie!!! In return, getting everything right was very important to me. But the one thing that was truly getting me was those tatoos. They were huge part of his design but dreded the idea of working on them. Especially the skull on his face. Surprisingly enough they weren't even that bad to do. Not too easy but not that hard either. I wasn't able to get him exactly like in the movie but I still tried to make close to the original. My only gripe is that he turned out a bit short. I played with everyone's height cuz it bugged me that everyone was around the same height in the movies. I have a thing with diversity when it comes to characters. But I realized how short Diablo was well into drawing his skull face so it was too late to change it. Though it's grating, part of me thinks it kinda works for him. I've seen plenty of little guys in pop culture kick ass. Plus it's nice contrast given his little "trick".

Enchantress: I was really digging her when she first appeared. That first transformation was freaky as hell. While keeping with her original design my version is just a bit more modest. I don't doubt they were going for the uber sexy evil priestess look. Still felt it was a bit much. My look is a fusion of her ghostly attire and her priestess attire. I also played with height. She looked the most intimidating when she was towering over everyone. Working on her hair was the best part for sure. I was surprised how "anime" they with her hair length. My Raven Haired Beauty pictures gave me proper practice for that. All in all I'm happy how she turned out.

Harley and Joker: Ah yeah, best for last!!!! Now Diablo was the best but these two were my favorites. Thug Joker was much fun to work on. Needles to say those tats were cool as hell and I think that crazy eye of his turned out pretty nice. My only gripe with him is that I couldn't really capture the "damaged" tatoo across his forehead. Alas, it was just to small to do by hand. I also noticed he had an impressive collection of knives so I threw in that shank last minute. Harley......oh Harley. I've been a huge fan of her since I was little kid. Which is why I soiled myself with joy when I heard she was FINALLY making her way to the bigscreen. I worked sooooo fuckn hard trying get her likeness as close a possible. So much so, when a friend complemented on how well I'd did her face I nearly cried. Literally three hours just went into her face X'( . Her body turned out pretty good too. She was gon have rightly fine birthing hips when I was finished with her!!!!

Man working on this was a trip. But it's humbling to know that I was even able to pull this off. I used to struggle drawing a friggn vase.
Now I know I'm a shit artist when compared to others on this site but I've come so far and can only get better. This excites me!!! Sorry for all that blabbering but I'm just so happy right now. As always I hope y'all like it and I'll see ya in the next pic.

P.s. I'm probably not going to color this one so if anyone would like to, just gimme shout before hand. Nine  times out of ten I'm gonna say yeah ^_^

I agree.  Any movie critic or movie critical website never really know what they're talking about.  I watched this movie 3 times already and I'm waiting for the DVD to drop soon.

You did a great job on this drawing.
