I had a really fun time with this one! Of course I love any excuse to draw Aqua and/or Vanitas, and I haven't drawn them both together since I did the cover for "Cast a Shadow" almost four years ago. (Wow that makes me feel old x'D ) So I offered to do a cover for this lovely fanfic as a Christmas present and I think it came out even better than I'd hoped! FINALLY got Vani's suit and hair the way I want them after experimenting with different color combinations; it's still difficult keeping them distinct because there's so much black, but shading the suit was probably my favorite part. I think I got a little carried away with the stars, which were done afterwards in paint, but since it was supposed to be about stargazing I guess that's alright I also want to draw more stuff in the Land of Departure now, the funky water-volcanoes-with-chains are pretty cool looking. Anyway that's enough technical rambling from me! Thanks again Ejes for letting me do this!
