That kick does seem a bit higher than a skilled combatant might consider, but perhaps White Rose is evaluating her opponent rather than trying to cause any real harm ... yet.

LMAO ... yeah, I remember when that TV advert came out, and I had already been a nerd for years ... before being a nerd was cool.
I wanted soooo badly to get the gaming console just so I could see her kick.
But I was way too old to be playing those sorts of games, or so I thought, so I never pursued it.
Funny ... because now I'm collecting Marie Rose 3D images so many years later.

DoA was fun, not great, but pretty fun. I didn't like how all the characters were basically the same body types, though. Marie didn't show up until 5, and only as DLC. She was included with the base roster of DoA 5 Last Round, but that's simply a refresh. She never even showed up in the story mode, which was a huge disappointment for me. However, Last Round is also on PC, and there lots of great mods that do exactly what you expect mods to do, lol. Sadly, many mods even buff up her chest more than it should be. I've always pictured her rather flat, though. Some of her game outfits make her chest look much smaller than others, as if she is padding. So that's my take on her, she pads in her battle outfits to hide her flatness. Some characters in the game poke a little fun at how flat she is, which doesn't make sense if she is indeed a B cup like her bio claims. A B cup isn't really small, and it certainly doesn't qualify as flat.
She became wildly popular and wins every single DoA fan vote that Tecmo does. They took votes for what characters should show up in DoA Xtreme 3, and she destroyed everyone else. So if they ever do a DoA 6 (who know if they will, the series creator left Tecmo,) you can bet Marie will be a center piece of that game, and probably on the cover like she is on DoA Xtreme 3 due to that fan demand.
I also think that if Tecmo ever does make 6, they'll add another smaller chested character to give Marie some competition. Given how popular she is, I'm sure they'd like to hit that note again.
And yes, it is funny, because I adored Marie long before I ever played DoA5 at all. She really stands out in promo material. In fact, I only recent bought the game on a Steam sale, like a few months ago.
