Description Now you probably already know this, but I love the Jurassic Franchise.
And because I'm such a fanboy, I'm super hyped for the next installment of this beloved franchise: Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom
So, to keep this hype-train rolling, I've decided to make files explaining the dinosaurs of Isla Nublar/Sorna, explaining how they behave, how much of their genetic code was altered by Ingen Scientists, and how they compare to their original counterparts.

One thing to note- I'll also be adjusting them slightly, like adding little bits of feathers here or there.
(mainly because I find it difficult to draw dinosaur without at least some form of proto-feathers)

For the thirty-first creature on our list, I've decided to showcase another obscure asset that sadly went extinct a long while ago...
called: "DINOSAUR-ASSET" FILES-15
Carnivore file File- "Orange Crested Creepers

otherwise known as "Proceratosaurus falliturii identita ingensis"

After the showcase of the popular IBRIS raptor, I've decided that we make a little return to some obscure assets that have been around in the original park, but sadly never got a full on-screen appearance. Specifically, I think we should draw attention to a medium-sized theropod who's skull was plastered onto the leaflet of the original park...

I am of course referring to the graceful scavengers of Jurassic Park, the PROCERATOSAURUS.

Now, this creature is tricky to find a good reference for as, there a varying concept-arts that never made itr into the films.
one was a lime green with a blue-ish nob on it's snout.
one was an orange-ish brown with a red crest.

But after a while, I finally found a BEAUTIFUL reference on the DeviantArt showcases of this guy- hellraptorstudios.deviantart.c…
And that is the design you see here, it's appealing but fits right into the final designs of the JP dinosaurs.
I particularly like the stripes on it's face and the bold orange crest that matches it's eyes.

and as for how this design works, i'd say it's about the same as the raptor when compared to it's ancestor, aside two major differences (like a lack of feathers and a shortened crest) and a few nitpicky details, it's actually not that far off it's ancestor.

but as for where it fits into the canon story, that's EVEN harder to find, as being one of the dinosaurs that is only briefly mentioned, with no major appearance on-screen... It took a look while of lore-digging before i could find anything. (nearly broke my trusty spade LOL)

But from what (very little) i could gather, it was first bred, like all of ingen's early assets on isla sorna, but due to their small size and reasonably docile behavior, the entire initial population was transported to isla nublar, and kep on the southern part of the island. Mosdt of their story there is quite uneventful, they escaped their pens during the 1993 "jurassic park' incident and for a few years intergrated themsevles into the islands new (slightly unstable at first) ecosystem, but after a while, they sadly went extinct, it's kinda a mystery that has made many people have wonder as to why, despite being good at scavenging they ended up becoming extinct, theories ranged from them simply dying of illness, some say there were too few of them (which was not the case) and some even thought that hey had died out because of lack of specfic food, but all three theroies turned out t be rather wrong, as the real reason for their secondary extinction actually came from overcompetion and too many predators of a similar size fighting for their resources, such as raptors and dilophosaurus.

las thing i'll note is that because of the time in which they were made, it seems that ingen mixed a bit of ceratosaurus genome into them assuming they were a close relative, when in fact they are actually closer to t-rex.

(disclaimer- please forgive me if i overlooked any canon details about this creature they were very hard to find any on this asset)

EDIT: changed the name to be slightly more "realistic"

It would be cool to see a proto asset of this guy because of a few reasons
reasons. 1. I think somewhere they said they didn’t know what they got until they cloned it. Meaning that one could assume a more “pure” specimen without ceratasaurs dna could’ve been conceived. This is similar to my thoughts on ingens spinosaurs, that they thought they did something wrong with the initial cloning thus adding dna from multiple organisms into its genome.

You understand what I mean? Like they cloned proto, thought that can’t be right(based on then current science) and proceeded to ad ceratasarus dna to the mix. But that raises a logical question. Are they using pure ceratasarus or ingens trex hybrid?

Is 8% of the genome of ceratosaurus pure or is it extracted from the ceratosaurus of jurassic park?

More news, dinosaur was never cloned and all samples were lost (I just got back an hour ago, I'm probably going to bring up a lot of stuff you already know).

i know but it does mention that the heerasaurs were alive, as were the baryonyx (on sorna) so i'm having it that only a few specimens were cloned but they ALL  died out.

and i'll put that info about what happened to the embryos in the description, like i did with the edmontosaurus (variant one)!

btw, Klayton just released a really thought-provoking video- A THOUGHT-PROVOKING QUESTION!Don't worry, I've finally got an idea for another post!
but until then, Klayton has just revealed perhaps one of his most
THOUGHT-PROVOKING videos.
And the question i have for all of you is that if these events ACTUALLY happened in the REAL WORLD, would you be on board with saving the dinosaurs?
Like if EVERY one of the "incidents" actually happened...
such as:
-the isla-nublar incident (1993)
-the attack on Cathy Bowman (early 1997)
-the San-Deigo incident (1997)
-the breaking of the gene-guard act (revealed in 2015)
-the sorna "chaos-effect" (1999-2002)
and most recently,
-the INDOMINUS INCIDENT and the pterandon-rampage (2015)
which was THREE YEARS AGO from the mount sibo eruption!
all leading up to a MINIMUM of 250 HUMAN DEATHS!
really think about how your life/personality/views would have been affected if all of these incidents had ACTUALLY happened in the past 25 years!
would you REALLY BELEIVE that these lab-made dinosaurs who (let's talk

"Part of Larson’s plan is to find T. rex specimens with medullary bone, in addition to one that has been found so far, which would make it potentially possible to come to a conclusion about the shape and size of typical females. He’s also looking at collections of skeletons from birds of prey  of known gender and age, in the hopes that they might also show this pattern and shore up the hypothesis by analogy."

Quite a bit of Sue's bones are larger than other Tyrannosaurus specimens. They had something similar to what Gustav the crocodile has. They got so big their bones actually started to change to adjust to their increased size. It's still nothing to say for sure what her gender was.
