After introducing friends (~Anori-chan and *ramuramu ) to the game ni no kuni, I finally got my brother to play it too, and he's really fond of Oliver and Esther, so here's some fanart of them for him

I just find Myrthle more innocent than Esther, therefor I don't see it working. And I know it's fun to ship people who has fights like Swaine and Esther, but really though, they're just too opposite... it just doesn't work for me

For me... The problem is in their ages... I mean I see Esther at maybe 16 as the oldest she could be... Swain on the other hand is probably around late 20s early 30s... I mean he looked 15 when they went back in time to get morning star!

And yeah, totally agreed, this game is fun to play.
It has its downs, yes, but it's still a nice game with great characters, nice story and decent cut scenes.

Oh yeah it's so lovable I love everything about the game! It hurt my feels a lot though! And asdfghj the lovely cutscenes! This game is nothing but art! Both when it comes to the music, animation and story!

I spend about 52h by now for the game, just today I defeated Shadar after like 30-45 minutes (geez, what a fight) and thought myself, damn, what an ending.
It took like 15 minutes each time I came to a new kingdom, just to explore it because everything looked so nice.
I even did monster hunting like hell and what not, just to have as much fun as possible with Ni No Kuni.
That said, yeah, probably one of my favorite RPG games as well

What i was trying to say was i keep drawing fan-art of NNK by copying fan-art from OFFICIAL ART. (no, not tracing) I get the image, and i draw the image on a paper. I fear that my drawings will be ugly once i make fan art without guides.
