From underneath the Rideau St./Wellington St. Bridge, at about 2am, here in Ottawa. Tried to keep much of the ambiant yellows (still reduced somewhat). This, again, is the end of the Rideau Canal.3-Shot RAW HDR. Exposure blending, burn tool and post color-work.

Agreed. I was trying to preserve the soft yellow light and bring out as much detail as possible of the concrete under the bridge. The shot is HDR using exposure blending, with no tone mapping, which would account for the contrast issue.
Any suggestions?

the exposure blending has done you well, the sharpness is a big over plus especially with such nice still well exposed water.
no suggestions at all, im just wondering if you open it in photo shop and just contrast it with curves.......does it look wierd?

I can take another look at it but when I was doing the shot over the summer any higher contrast really created harsh light on the street lights in the distance.

Well done on the HDR processing! Looks very natural, no halos, nice color and light distribution. Great texture in the concrete there, and that water! Perfectly glass!
