I have decided to write a story!!

I got the idea for this story from 's amazing

I absolutely LOVED this picture and i really wanted to write a story to go along with the picture

I also wanted to draw pictures to go along with the part of the story that they come with
So here is the Prologue I hope you enjoy it!

Prologue -

The rains have gone and seem to never be coming back. It is drier than anyone can remember, and there is not enough food to sustain one lion, let alone the entire pride, or, at least what is left of it.

Scar's reign has made the Pridelands inhospitable for any animal that used to live here. The fact that he wont leave in order for the pride to survive, just proves that he is only King for himself.
That is all he wanted from the beginning, and now that he has is, he has a new dream - Creating an heir...

Nala and Sarabi were out trying to scavenge for any food that they could find with the hunting party. As usual =, coming up empty handed.
While looking, the three minion hyenas of Scar walked up.

"The king has requested Nala's presence." said Shenzi

"Oh has he," Nala mocked Shenzi's messenger tone, "and why is that?"

"That is for you to find out." said Bonzai, as he walked closer to Nala.

"Come along and don't make a fuss." Said Shenzi.

Sarabi made a low growl, and Nala shot her a look as if to say, "Don't worry, I will be fine."

Normally, she would never have gone with the mutts, but she was so hungry and exhausted, that Nala found herself going without a fight.
As she walked, the lioness was flanked on both sides by Shenzi and Bonzai, with the ever-dumbfounded Ed bringing up the rear.
No one said a word as they walked up Pride Rock and into the den.

Scar turned around at the sound of their arrival, and had an evil smile on his face.

"Leave us!" he yelled at the hyenas.
They left without so much as a glance at their "King".

"What do you want Scar?" Nala said as the lion watched her.
"Oh now, now. There is no need for attitude dear Nala," He said with a grin, "I merely wanted to speak with you about the future of my kingdom."
-As if there will be a future...- thought Nala in anger.
"And what future do you have in mind for...your...kingdom?"

"Oh one of greatness my lady," said Scar smiling evily.

"How do you expect to acheive this "greatness"?"

"It's simple really, all I need...is an heir,"

Nala looked at Scar wide-eyed as he circled her.

"And to aheive that, I need a beautiful, young lioness..."
