In the city, there was a huge building - not quite a skyscraper, but still very tall - and living in that building,
in the penthouse on the very top, was a girl. She was a sickly girl... the daughter of a billionaire. He was
gone often... business trips and the like kept him away. But for his daughter, who loved the green side of
life - grass, trees, flowers, small living things - he had, built on the roof and balcony, a beautiful garden
completely enclosed in thick panes of frosted glass and skilled iron-wrought framing. So weak was
the girl, that the free air.... well, she sickened so easily, she could not bear it. So the free air was
cut off, and the garden - an oasis as clean and sterile as beauty and life can be made.
A poor excuse, perhaps, for the green one may find in a rainforest, or deep in the
mountain forests.... but for the girl, it was a slice of pure heaven.
Within that garden paradise, lived the various little pets the father had
bought for his little girl to be with her when
he was not able to.
One of them.... was Button.
