Description
The first two Sanguinary Guard models my boyfriend has painted for his Blood Knights army. I helped him so very little with these models, I was busy with my own projects
I'm very proud of what he did this time! He's been perfecting his techniques, and wow! Just see the eyes and the power axe, they're crazy! And everything was painted in 3.5 cm tall models... that's less than 1 1/2 inches. He painted veeeeeeery small details.
These little guys were a NIGHTMARE to photograph! the shiny armor made the lightning feel odd, and most photos were either too bright or too dark. And my boyfriend asked me to make some close-ups that were near to impossible, but I made it!
I feel proud.After I took the photos, I noticed the cat hair
they're so thin I never see them until I upload the photos, and they are always there no matter how much I clean everything. I suppose that's what I get for having 6 cats

Thank you! My boyfriend spends a week with each model from the Sanguinary Guard. He likes to paint them one by one so he can get the "feel" of their personalities and make each one special.

(i also suffer from cat hair in my miniature photos, i`m so used to it by now that removing them from the pics is just part of the process

Even if I'm not the biggest fan of muscle-like armours - those model are really well painted! Especially with such difficult colour as gold is!
The wings are also greatly shaded and the face is painted top notch!
I might only complain about the power axe, because I'm not the greatest fan of "lightning pattern" - but still it goes together very well, so it's a job well done!

Well a badge is only... a badge. It doesn't do anything. You can collect badges and it will change as you get more llamas, right now I have a ninja llama

How do you keep popping up into my life like this?
My boyfriend plays it too and I paint most of his models for him. I also try playing a few games too, but I suck terribly at strategy... it doesn't help that he knows all my moves before I even know them myself because he taught me everything.
He does Eldar (him main army), Chaos Space Marines, Nekrons, and Tau... and he's starting to learn Warhammer Fantasy, which is going to be a Lizardmen Army.... which is what I'm in the process of painting.
Nice job on the model though.

He paints all his models, I almost don't help him there. I'm working on some custom pieces for him, like banners and shields

My boyfriends being doing warhammer since he was like 8 haha. He stopped for a little while because some of his friends stopped playing, but started up again like 2 years ago.
The Nekrons he has he bought from one of his friends for like $75 because he doesn't play anymore... which is great for my bf because its Apocalypse Sized (2000 or 3000 points) Now he just has to wait for them to be re-made.
I've been learning with his Eldar Army because Wraith Lords are the shiz. (I tried Tau once, but its evident that they despise me... and that may be due to my accidently sitting on one of their tanks... and then having that same tank get nailed by a ballistic spray paint can that I had been shaking...)
I've seen a really neat looking Ork army at our mall once during their big Warhammer tournament. The guy gave them all riot shields and converted some toy cars into tanks.
