Another drawing from September, but now we're back with the story progression~
I’m not the best at drawing slick nor slightly transparent surfaces, and crystals are the worst. I guess I’m just bad at imagining square-ish objects in space… That’s why I’m so bad at perspective xD
As I tried to make Fuco smooth instead of angular, I also noticed that I don’t understand how light bends on crystals... Just… just gimme some decent references that I understand, god ;0;

After being brainwashed during my philosophy lectures at Uni, my brain was resonating with the sound of Foucault’s name, and so I named phorusrhacos - Fuco xD (I’ll refer to it using a polish species name – fororak, because it’s shorter, funnier and I tend to call it just Fororak instead of Fuco, lol).

As Nora gets more and more lost around the residence hallways, she finds a library. She has a tendency to steal a lot of things (mostly not expensive, but she still ends up in funny troubles because of it), so she… “borrows” some books. Among these books is a magical item made out of animal hearts, in this case containing two magic animals. Nora soon notices that something wants to get out of the item she took and so she lets fororak out of its item. As she tries to figure out what happened, fororak starts to chew on a sofa.

This demon for some reason likes to bite and eat EVERYTHING (he even ate a piece of ship’s broadside that he himself bitten off).

Older Veve sees the whole situation and (as all ve can do) talks to Fuco and orders him to go back inside its item. He then questions Nora why she took the magical booklet, but he decides to let her have it, because it was Lara and Gilbert that stole this item from its original owner in the first place. The animals wouldn’t listen to anyone so they’ve kept them away, and Veve thinks that it’ll be a little revenge on Lara and Gilbert if Nora takes those troublesome things on their ship. What a little rascal xD

Nora tries to befriend Fuco for some time, as they are going to work together, or at least convince him to stop biting things. He even considered trying to eat little Veve, when she offered to help with communication between Nora and him xD We managed to discover that Fuco prefers eating fish instead of the ship’s parts, so Nora provides him with fishes anytime she takes him out of his magical item.

Fuco can create crystal pieces (pink quartz) in many shapes or control and bend other crystals. Using his magic, usually during combat, Nora creates weapons, armor or bunkers. His power potential is average.

Beside bitting everything he sees, he likes to sit with spread out legs, being praised and running around.
