What a lovely shot! He's gorgeous. And I can't agree with that statement more. If I could have a dog, it would be a Grey. It wasn't always that way though. Allow me to tell you a short story.
When I first saw these guys, I thought: "Who would want such a skinny, ugly dog?" I didn't know what they were used for, etc. Then I began to work for my vet. He was associated with the Greyhound Rescue, so we would do their checks when they came up from the tracks and saw them in the office by local owners a lot, plus the vet himself had one. I swiftly fell in love!!! Now all I see when I look at these guys is beauty. I remember one that we had to treat on a regular basis and no matter what we were going to do to him, that boy would run to me as soon as his feet hit the door. Now, as you write, that's love! And yes, he was treated and would be an old boy now.
So yes, I love the greys and this shot of yours is particularly wonderful!
