Description
In the Zenith Castle of the Sun, there is a stone turtle bearing a stele carved from a rare blue-gray rock. The stele is blank, save for the two griffins carved on it that are gilded in gold of all types. The stone turtle has Sky Sapphire eyes and aquamarine claws, and a gold band is found at the stele's bottom.

In the past, its precise functions are unknown, though it's speculated to bear the names of the 'Destined' who will defend their home dimensions from evil. In Preparations (Part 1), Ranald puts his hand on the stele, only for his head to be filled with visions of warriors in fantastic armour with Chinese characters on their chests and wielding celestial weapons, fighting monsters and demons alike. He was shocked at the sight. The Star Orbs he and his companions found in the Devourer of World's lair may have a connection to the Stele.

Now, after a Star Orb merges with someone, when that person sleeps, their soul goes to Dreamland, where they meet a Golden Griffin Warrior who takes them to the Aether World's Realm of the Sun, where the Zenith Castle is. The Paladin then places their hands on the Stele of 108 Stars, causing their name to appear on it. He or she gains powers and a Heroic Form relating to the Star Orb's host's hopes, dreams and the fears they overcame in question, and based on the star that merged with them.
