Hi! I saw this in #Closer-to-Divine and wanted to comment. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/> I really like your composition here. You've created a really romantic, storybook scene complete with a magical castle and romantic forest. The pieces really fit nicely together. What doesn't fit is the lighting. I think the bride's dress looks really overexposed, as opposed to gently dappled with sunlight as one might expect. On the model, try using the Highlights/Shadows function. Duplicate model into 2 additional layers. On the top layer, use Highlights/Shadows to get the highlights. Don't over-highlight; just get it to where it is a bit brighter than the original. Erase the parts that should NOT be highlighted (this is why you have the original layer beneath it). For shadows, on the other new layer, follow the same general idea... darken the models using the Highlights/Shadows (it may be Shadows/Highlights, but you get the idea) function and then erase the parts that should NOT be dark (e.g. the shadows). See if that doesn't give a more natural, softer lighting. If you want even more precision, you can use a small round brush and dodge and burn -- OR you can create another layer and paint over the edges, then blur softly and set to something like Linear Dodge. This is best done with only SMALL, THIN sections. In any case, I have no idea whether this is useful at all to you; just my two cents. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)"/> Oh, also, the models should be a bit closer in tone to the rest of the deviation. You know, though, your taste is exquisite-- you really did pick the perfect couple for this deviation. It's beautiful, and you should be proud! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h… " width="38" height="15" alt="" title="Hug"/>
