I noticed a few people were a bit confused who the girl in my last drawing was and I realized I never properly introduced her here. Meet Vadelma’s little sister, Kirsikka! She made a quick apperiance on page seven of my splatoon comic but here's more info about her. Copy-pased from my splatoon tumblr blog:Kirsikka is 15-years-old and a bit quiet and shy girl. Her most notable trait is obviously her left eye. She injured her eye in her first turf battle ever. A splat bomb exploded right in her face. Kirsikka always had problems transforming between her human and squid form and she didn’t fully heal when respawning. She never battled after that accident. Thus now she spends most of her time working in the cafe.
And yesh, poor girl has a HUGE crush on Sorrel. ;D But she’s too shy to say anything and Sorrel is too oblivious to notice (and busy crushing over Cyanthia). *sigh* Please Kirsikka! You’re way better for this boy than his current crush!

Seems bad time for me to ask and I don’t want to bother you. But When I see Kirsikka, I just imagine her singing/dancing while she’s working/focusing on something. She have a beautiful voice. Pls don’t ask me why, I just do.
Sudden, I got this idea of she absently singing while she’s working in kitchen and customers (even her sister) can heard her singing. Of course they never mention it because she would get very flustered when she realized they can hear her singing.

Considering they are related, I wonder if Vadelma shares the same eye color as her sister. Ah well, at least Kirsikka didn't seem to have inherited an ability to blink in every photo.

Kirsikka reminds me of Kaneki Ken from Tokyo Ghoul with the eyepatch and her shyness
If there is ever going to be a Kirsorrel (Kirsikka x Sorrel) ship, I am a loyal supporter of it.

I have a character of my own named Kirsikka. >3< I call her Kirsi for short. Love how you connect and give so much thought into all your characters. It really brings them too life and makes them more important than just filler.

That's what I love about your comics. ^.^ Even your minor characters are well thought out and not just 'there' to fill a spot. They don't feel like minor characters at all. Well, besides only being seen here and there. XD I love how well you flesh them out regardless of how 'important' they are. It makes them feel like they can't be replaced in their role and makes them that more special like the 'main' ones.

How cute would it be if she found an eyepatch that matched Sorrel's hat and wore it on a day he comes into the cafe with his team? she'd probably be totally flustered and embarrassed and he'd be confused while the rest of his team would either tease him or our favorite pervert on the green team would try to set them up!

SHIP THOSE TWO ALREADY! I think Sorrel deserves her a hell of a lot more than him crushing over Cyanthia (and possibly getting stepped on in the process).
Incidentally, can't help but notice her clothing choices are practically the same as Vadelma's. Seems easy to confuse the two if it weren't for the eyepatch...
