Everyone complains that cresselia isn't helping but unless she's literally level 99 (the level she learns moonblast) and as a wild pokemon isn't likely to have tm access, she basically can't do shit to darkrai bar aurora beam (which would probably tickle him for how weak an attack it is.), slash (in the same boat as aurora beam pretty much but off her lower physical attack) or maybe future sight (which btw would be an AMAZING way to end it if a future sight she cast earlier hits him right before he finishes them though I hope it won't be an ass pull type of thing if she does it that way and she shows at some point in the comic even in a more subtle way that she fired future sight off)Β

In the anime episode it showed their balance between light and dark. All she had to do is flash her pretty little colors and that scared Darkrai away. Honestly I hate Cresselia with all my heart but that's just me. I respect everyone else's opinion.

Nobody is disrespecting your opinion, no need to get defensive. Just saying in this particular case there is a valid reason why cresselia isn't likely as helpful as you would expect of a legendary normally. While she can indeed negate his sleep abilities, darkrai in turn can just destroy her with powerful moves that happen to have a type advantage. Remember if cresselia goes down nobody can save anyone darkrai put to sleep even if they manage to defeat him. Strategically she MUST stay alive at all costs.
