This reminds me of the scene in TLK 2 where Kovu comes home to find is sister Vitani (sp?) chewing off (or trying to) a root.

wow this page explain exactly what it looks like when she eat her inks i didn't know they were that chewy very interesting way to show how tasty inks can be to your char!!!wonderful job

This is no doubt the most original comic I've read. The concept behind this is truly marvelous, the way the characters are approached as shattered glasses yet their reflection shows "real" animals is very, very interesting. I can't wait for the explanation of everything.
I also noticed that the inklings don't seem to have a reflection... You always pay attention to such small yet amazing details.

That's condensing action, you needn't stretch out actions like eating because they don't move the story forward. You've shown as much information as needed. Remember it's not a storyboard, but a comic. Dragging out one or two things can stifle the pacing as you attempt to fit the equivalent of a second's worth of moving information into 10 pages.

Now this is really showing another aspect of the characters... They're wild and they eat things I wouldn't even let near me, because they can't find anything else... Not afraid to get dirty to survive. I wonder how this world used to be. Was it like ours, only to become dead and all covered in mirrors at some point, were the characters ordinary animals once, and did eating those things make them change...
