Atli's shadow on Jin's back is quite interesting. Is the bird also made of glass? If it had just been the light of the day, and imagining that light to come frome above it would only have pooled underneath him not given such a silluete.

For some reason, I'm having a really hard time recognizing Atli as female and Jin as male, they feel switched around for me. xD
Probably cause I'm so used to the skeptic older sister, happy younger brother dynamic.

Spectacular job as always. The colours are incredible and the story is so deep and well thought out. It's a nice break from the typical animal comic.
Even with the flat ground, I can see one of them getting chipped or slightly cracked. Just curious, what would happen then?

They're made of very hard glass-- it would take a much higher drop than they can accomplish in this flat world to shatter them. But when they get chipped... well, a while ago Jin mentioned in passing that Atli got a shard in her eye, hinting that it may have caused her heterochromia. She can still see from both eyes though, it just changed color (;
