Just a couple of quick portraits of my cats from recently.
May Luka rest in peace. There's a speedpaint video of one on my instagram Β if you wanna see itUnfortunately my health has been really terrible lately. Some of you may know I have a chronic illness, and apparently my work schedule and travel lately has been too much for me. It's generally never life-threatening, I have all the medical support I need, it's just exhausting. I'm still working but somehow it seems my art comes out worse when I'm not well. I think part of it is my mental health and physical health are irritatingly intertwined lol.Β

Two things stand out to me here. The blue outline in the illustration on the right, contrasting really well with the orange of the cat, and the excellent texturing that's usually so difficult to capture with furry textures.
