a simple sketch that took my less than 30 minutes. but it means so much to me. This is my favorite deviation in my gallery-if you know me well enough then you'd know why.I know this isn't good so no flaming please

This is likely one of my most favored as well.
I feel like this is part of my soul, seen in passing at the birth of my son.
I wish it could be what you named it, but I saw another face in another turn around life's rings; one so deep within, in its cups, lost in childishness.
How will the other parts bear up if the main is wandering in the wilds of being so very young? And yet it will not wish to relinquish control. It is such a dilemma, what answers could be equitable.
I hope school is wonderful!

ANYway, the lighting here is wonderful! I love how it gets less detailed the further your eye moves around the pic. Draws more attention to the main focus, with its detail.

This looks amazing Tami! So great for a quickie too. You can really feel it has meaning.
Maybe it's learning to fly? I'm not sure what the meanings behind it is, but this is gorgeous work. I love how detailed the head is, and then as you get away it becomes more and more traditional looking. And the colours are just yummy, so calm and serene almost.
Lovely work, definitely one of your best.
