If I have the chance to make the world a better place, there’s one single thing I would do; “RESTECP”. What is that? RESTECP is more than just RESPECT. It is a recipe of harmony that can be achieved by anyone in anyplace.
1. R stands for Respect. Respect means giving the trust to others without ignorance; letting people do what they want as long as they don’t hurt others and themselves. We let them because we love them.
2. E stands for Empathy. Empathy means understanding others’ feelings, minds, and experience without any tendency. We sincerely care about anything around them.
3. S stands for Strike your self. The greatest man is the one who can beat himself. Beat the ego, the passion, the emotion, the anger, the desire, etc. Why? Because life is merely just a dream, nothing’s real! One thing for sure; death, one can’t run from it. We will never know what will happen next.
4. T stands for Thanks for what you’ve got. Don’t always look above. Sometimes, take a look at below. The joy is what you feel, not what you look. For example, although you didn’t have a car, you still have a motorbike. Even if you didn’t have a motorbike, you still have a bicycle. Or, let say if you didn’t have it, you still have your legs. Or even worst, if you couldn’t walk, you still have your life!
5. E stands for Ease. Ease means relax and positive thinking. Healthy mind keeps the body healthy. Don’t get jealous, don’t get suspicious, and don’t get fear!
6. C stands for Calm. Calm means keep patient. Human being is God’s creature who has mind and heart which work simultaneously. Both should not be separated. Sometimes we left the rationality, because of the anger. Sometimes we left the sympathy, because of the arrogance. Don’t get harsh, and don’t too hurry, ‘coz life is simply free!
7. P stands for Pacify. Pacify means keep the peace anywhere and anytime you belong. Life is beautiful, and its beauty should be kept remain!
