This is a quick painting that I have done when I felt well enough to sit at the computer. It's a little different than what I normally do maybe it was the meds? She started as a doodle because i didn't feel well and wasn't very inspired, but she was begging to be finished so I did. The flowers are called "Globe thistle" I have a few of them in my garden and love them because they are so different and pretty and the adorable bumble bees love them. So does Tryphosa.

Oh and I made my own Bokeh with my Ellipse tool in PS.

What a sweet thing to say! I started painting a long time ago when I was a little girl and have always explored different mediums. This one was born when I ran out of colored pencils and my son talked me into trying to paint in the paint program on my computer. With my tablet it's really not that different than painting on canvas with oils and brush or pencils on paper. It just takes practice.
