Sometimes if I have trouble writing a scene or character, I’ll draw it/them out to inspire myself (lol).

I have a feeling I won’t win with my NaNoWriMo wordcount this year, but I can still give it a shot, and draw art of it in the meantime. This is Hana, the main character of my NaNo YA novel, Strix. It’s funny because she’s a character I’ve had since high school, but her design has largely remained the same. She just wears more modern clothes now (and is totally the kind of girl who would wear a pink shirt underneath her badass sneaky night clothes.
