Hello people
Long time since I submitted anything worthwhile is it ?
Since I got my hands full with completing my final exam work (so I can I get my hands on my diploma xD) AND I finally got a tablet 2 days ago
, I though I put up my first attempt at drawing with the tablet Must say it was a bit confusing at first
But I think I managed to figure it out in a basic level
I couldn't help myself, and made a load of details in it (again...) though the skin's details were finally MUCH more easier :3 Still need some practice though
And yea, this is one of my drawings, the Priestess of the Moon... But I will finish her with traditional art :3 This was just... practice X) Though I must say she would look cute like this
Any critique is more than welcome, since I need my skills up and tidy in 1 week! I have to draw my exam work until 3rd of Maj xD Serious deadline

This was just a practice work and I want to finish the priestess the way I started: traditional media.
Well so far I still have my hands full with my final exam...
The madness will end only around june 14-18 when I have the last big exam. Until than ? Mind-numbing schooooooool exam xD

As I heared from some of my frieds, some of them love the tablet, but some of them can't use it and it just collects dust on the desk 
Give it some time if you want to learn it ^^ But if you don't want to use it, it is O.K. in the end ^^ since there are a lot of other technique that is pretty amazing
Yeah I study at an art school. Though frankly speaking, the techers don't really teach anything about drawing techniques and stuff :/ So in that way I'm totally happy that I finally can get rid of this school once and for all. I bet I advanced more just being on DA than in my school lol xD

I will upload the first WIP tomorrow I think.

i have probs,remembering the answers i gave and then something strange can happen XD
in school i had leistungskurs art (don´t know if you know what i mean? ) and the only things we made were drawing cans and bottles (the jewelery in my gallery was kind of my exam work
it was hell...
so i can imagine your situation a bit XD

We were drawing abstract stuff all the time -_-
Problem is with that, that my skills just devolved and I wasn't able to draw things that were usually easy for me to draw oO
I got stupid in drawing xD Like some prehistoric man or something
After a time it can be really frustrating. I wasn't drawin after that for a half a year or so. I just got angry when it just don't wanted to work out the way I wanted

Nice job. Better than me. I hated the tablet. I found having to look somewhere else than where I was drawing to see what I was doing to be very annoying. But for those who get the hang of it, it's a great help. Glad to see you got the hang of it.

Yeah, I have submitted some art for their fan art gallery but none have been approved yet. Actually I think the problem is:
1. I haven't made it with CG
2. I don't used coloures
One of the publishers I asked for work objected because I haven't used coloures in my works. Hopefully this will be solved pretty quick witht the tablet + PS
What other things ?
Erm, job, drawing my own stuff, don't need to worry about stupid teachers mindblowing idiocy aaaand I guess I've had enough a bit of the univercity

I have some stuff to make sculptures from though ^^ So sooner or later when I have time finally I will definitely make some
AND I want to try out a program (Z-Brush) thats similar to sculpting just on computer

Bryce is my favorite for an easy learning curve. The best, of course, is Maya but that is serious stuff.
Have you considered some other line of work like product design or advertising?

Well commercial media is just not for me...
I have no problems with commissions that ask me to make an advertising illustration or stuff but I'm not good with typo or drawing letters and stuff that you would need for a common poster or whatnot xD
Actually I'm open to any type of drawing, as long as it don't involves letters or other type of commercial graphic stuff xD

letters are done on computer. the programs that layout stuff like that are easier than any 3-d program. it's just drag and drop. That tri-fold brochure I did was with apple's Pages program. It took one day to learn it. Besides, ad agencies specialize. If you worked for them you'd be an illustrator, not a copy or layout person. Just a thought to widen your prospects.

Elsőnek szerintem abszolút jó, bár akinek ennyire benne van a kezében a tradi rajz, annak a digitális csak egy újabb eszköz...
Két dolog, ami bántja a szemet: a piros kőnek van ugyan árnyéka, de nincs súlya, olyan, mintha lebegne, a szemöldök pedig nagyon kilóg a bőrből, kéne egy kis belső árnyék neki, sőt talán vetett is.
De ezek apróságok, a szem nagyon szép és igéző, szívesen látnám ennek a szösszenetnek a folytatását!

Najah.. a kő árnyékával érzékeltethettem volna a sújt
Eredetileg nem csak ez a rész volt meg ebből a rajzból, hanem megpróbáltam az egészet megcsinálni... de úgy gondoltam hogy majd véglegesen majd az eredetit fejezem be inkább ahogy elkezdtem ^^
Lesz bőven rajzom, amit ezzel csinálok xD

Nálam a szem-kéz koordináció bejáratása tartott sokáig, gondolom neked is ez fura
Trükkökhöz meg van egy rakat jó tutorial, ki is lehet találni újakat, csak játssz egy kicsit a programmal!

Wow. This is pretty amazing for a first attempt, not that I know how hard/easy it is to draw digitally. Love the details in the gem and its shadow, as well as the colours in the eyes.
