You are now the proud owner of a WES (Pocket edition) unit, entertainer and mime extraordinaire. Please read the following instructions closely to ensure that you get the most out of your new WES unit.

Basic Information:

Your WES unit will come with the following accessories:

One (1) Standard WES outfit
One (1) Tin of facepaint
Five (5) balloons (Note: The balloons mysteriously replenish themselves, so replenishing the supply is unnecessary)
One (1) Umbrella

Note: All extra clothing and/or items can be purchased separately.

Programming:

Your WES unit is programmed to perform several specialized tasks:

Survivalist: Your WES unit is a fair survivalist, pre-programmed with up-to-date techniques of all kinds. Though it is not as skilled as most other units. (Pocket Edition WES will end up in situations that will most likely damage it. Please monitor your unit to make sure it will not get hurt.)

Entertainer: All WES units are expert mimes and even know a few other methods of entertainment, such as balloon animals. If you are polite about it, many units are good teachers.

Comforter: The WES unit is one of our most kind and sympathetic units. Don't hesitate to ask for hugs if you're feeling down.

Speedster: The WES unit is very fast. It is recommended you purchase our Unit Tracker to make sure you can find it if it gets lost.

Prankster (Pocket exclusive): Being very small and fairly nimble makes this unit able to easily get into places it probably shouldn't be. It is recommended you stay on the good side of this unit unless you want your salt and sugar swapped.

Relations to other units:

Note: Don't Starve Units have minimal pre-programmed reactions to each other, it depends mostly on the individual unit. WES units only have a preprogrammed reactions towards MAXWELL units.

MAXWELL: All WES units fear all MAXWELL units. It is recommended that you keep them away from each other.

Cleaning:
WES units are good at keeping themselves clean, so upkeep should be minimal. However, you may want to give them their own place to apply makeup, such as an extra sink.

Energy:
Your WES unit is not very active, being a more delicate unit. Just keep it fed and it will be perfectly happy. It does not eat very much, though it gets hungry more quickly.

Troubleshooting and Problems:

Problem: Your WES unit is twitchy, glancing around nervously and acting as if it has a headache.
Solution: Your unit has lost a large amount of sanity. Give it a flower crown, make it some dapper/silly clothes, or give it a warm, sweet beverage. It should clear right up. (WES unit specific note: physical comfort, i.e. hugs, is also welcomed.)

Q: My WES hasn't talked to me yet! Should I be worried?
A: Not at all! WES units are not programmed for speech. (They are mimes, after all.)

Q: I think WES is lost! He's been missing for three days and I've looked everywhere!
A: Check your neighborhood for MAXWELL units. One has most likely captured your WES unit. You will have to get the owner on your side as the MAXWELL unit will not listen to you. If negotiations fail and you cannot retrieve your unit, call our helpline and we shall do our best to help you.

Q: My house is filled with animal balloons. I like balloons, but I can't move around my house anymore. Help?
A: Simply ask your unit politely to stop. If that fails, it might be a glitch. Drop your unit off at the nearest mechanic and get rid of all the balloons while you wait.

Q: My WES unit is floating on a non-existent bicycle. How on earth...?
A: We have no idea. This behavior has not proven dangerous, so you don't have to worry.

Your WES unit, is fragile and adverse to danger, and should last a long time. Not providing your unit with adequate food and/or sanity regaining activities can reduce the unit's life.
