a three-headed monkey!I was just going through my annual Monkey Island series playthrough when I realized that I've never drawn a MI related picture in my many years of MI fandom. This should take care of that. I loved the art style they used in Curse of Monkey Island and was disappointed that they didn't use it again for Escape from Monkey Island. Oh well.

How in the world did I miss this gem! The animation in this game was top notch, I heard a rumor that they are going to make another one. I just hope its like COMI and not the shitty 3d one....Awesome picture by the way.

I definately would have to agree about the art style used in Curse was my favorite also... I think that's kind of what sucks about the 3D craze, everyone jumped onto the band wagon, I will always be a greater fan of 2D, and I think if Monkey Island had expanded on the 2D animation from Curse and the invances in technology, it could have been epic, instead of completely revamping it... oh well enough of my complaining lol.
What I had meant to say was, I didn't think anyone else had an 'annual' MI playthrough... but by golly I think I missed last year, I played Curse but never the rest of em....

I think I play CoMI the most because of the wonderful voice acting and the fantastic animation. I'll always love the first game though. The music was so awesome in that. The organ music in the church used to scare me (I first played it when I was about 11 years old).

lawl, I think I have to agree, I dun remember how old I was, but I remember watching my dad play through the first two all the time, and then I got CoMI for christmas the year it came out. It definately is my favorite also. lol, the church music is freaky, but I think the thing that scared me the most was the close up views of the pirates in the beginning that you talk to haha. and good ol' Murray makes the game even more funny
