Contest entry for .This was supposed to be colored in but after negelecting my tablet for a long time now, I need to practice again. ;A;
SO it ended up this way, done in blue, with Kaoru glomping his big brother with love.
I bet Hikaru did something to make Kaoru happy like that.
He has this satisfied expression on his face, or something.
Oh well.
I still suck at anatomy in general. Taking a hiatus was not the best move on my part. ;A;
I can;t even draw them identical now.

I think the soft coloring really makes this look lovely. As far as anatomy goes, something about Kaoru's shoulder strikes me as a bit off. I'm not sure what exactly... wow, I'm totally unhelpful. ._.
Anyway, I really like this. Their expressions are so adorable. Kaoru reminds me of a happy kitty.

I think they look very much alike.The fact that they have different expressions ,and different veiws (3/4 and profile)is done well!A profile to profile pic is easier ,but this veiw is an improvment.I think it is at least!
The only thing I notice as far as anatomy is Kaoru's shoulder/arm positioning ,easily fixxed with the selection tool.Moved up a bit ,and to the right a very little bit ,it would be just fine.
Taking a break is a good idea!I clears the mind ,and gives you a fresh start.
