So I have broken the whole square thing well and truely.....so another old photo which was a square (which I had edited badly) I decided to upload as a portrait.I do hope to take some new photos soon, I just need some countryside

Oh my God that's awesome! I recently went to Paris and took a pic similar to that except it was in color. Kinda cool since the ground was wet and you could see the Eiffel's reflection too.

the perspective and lighting on this are just spectacular. The people being brought to the front in such high contrast with the shadows really catching one's eye make this an awesome shot. The fact that the Eiffel tower is fading into the sky along with the geometric pattern on the ground just gives the eye so much to look at. Great work!

i love how the people are silhouettes.
also, the ghostly condition of the Eiffel Tower truly adds to the picture -- i agree, it would make an outstanding postcard; hope that doesn't come off sounding like an understatement or belittles the picture in anyway -- its beautiful.

This is such a beautiful photo! I love it ^_^ The blacked out people really brings the focus to the tower... I love this-- why would you be bothered tha it was a portrait-- it's gorgeous!
