I had to say good bye to Miss Thea back in March. This is the last photo I took of her. She became sick and after 10 days on medication she wasn't getting better. She was only 11. You can see in her eyes she doesn't really look like she's 'with it'.

11 seems to have been her number. She was born 11/11/11, she was 11 when she died and she'd only been sick for 11 days. She was special (as they all are) and even the neighbors were sorry to see her go. She was a regular fixture on the porch all year long. She rarely refused to go out even for a little while. In summer she'd stay out all day. She is missed.
