Description
This was from a quick shoot I did with the lovely *That-Way early on the last day of A-Kon. I had made this outfit before the con, and I was a little sad I didn't really get to wear it much during it. *That-Way was lovely and agreed to do an impromptu shoot with me, although I felt so awkward and nervous for asking her to do such a thing that I ran off quick once we were done. |D;

Needless to say, lordy I was exhausted, and it wasn't until after I got the pictures back that I realised just how dishevelled my wig was. (It's on its last, frayed legs, the poor thing.) I took the liberty of fixing up the giant fuzz ball it was in Photoshop, so eheh, my apologies for the shopping.

I really loved the little drawing of her in this outfit from Hidekaz's blog, but honestly didn't expect to make it until I stumbled upon a pattern that was nearly perfect at a thrift store. An edit here, and edit there, and I had her dress! Still, this was a fun - and very frustrating - outfit to make. Namely because that darn lace was impossible to dye brown - Rit dye turned it bizarrely purple, and I cried all over it for hours. Luckily, soaking it for over an hour in polyester specific dye at least made it brown, even though it doesn't match very well...

Anyway! Enough tl;dr about this mess. Hopefully I can get a new wig (when I have money!) and get even more amazing shots of this outfit someday... Thanks again to *That-Way for putting up with me and taking these amazing shots!
