Yes, I finally did it! I finished this costume, and although the wig gave me trouble, I LOVE how things turned out!
I am honestly surprised with how well she physically suits me, and I'm glad I got to portray her intense, conflicted side in this photo. You don't get to see me cosplay many female characters (if any LOL), so I'm glad I got the chance. 8D
She is one of my all-time favorite characters, and I'm glad I had the opportunity to have so many shoots with this costume.
More shots are coming, so look forward to it! ^^ ~

Thank you so much! As for the fabric choice, I used a nu-suede (a mix of suede with polyester from what I remember), which is pretty much a thin fabric that really resembles pelts and things I feel are worn by those from the water tribe. C: Given that it was thin, I ended up using the same fur as a sort of padding on the inside, so it gave the brown part more volume, and it acts as a cushion for when I'm sitting on the ground. C:

I actually bought the wig off of eBay for the color, and ended up removing wefts from another brown wig I had lying around for the back.

The hair definitely looks awesome. Most Korra cosplays have the hair lookin like a hot mess but it looks really good.

Thank you so much! I actually made some loops in a rectangle shape out of the fabric I used for the pants and the white lining for the arm warmers, and then used fabric glue to pull it tightly around the hair to secure it. (:

Thank you so much! *A* <3 I actually managed to find mine off a random seller on eBay for the main wig, and there are wefts I cut out from another brown wig I had lying around for extra support in the back. (: Just try and look for anything that is a SUPER dark brown, almost close to black but not quite? Those wigs always end up being a bit brighter in person, especially in sunlight. C:

LOVE the hair. If that's a wig, then that was a smart decision because it looks floppy and bulky when girls (or boys, I guess lol) cosplay Korra's hairstyle with their own hair. Nice job!
