Now anyway, this is King Sonic. He is fat. Would you like to know why?

In episode 27 or so of Sonic Underground, the group gets sent to a universe where Sonic and friends are the bad guys and Robotnik is the good guy. They eventually manage to defeat their evil doubles... even though Sonic Prime ends up getting captured in the process, if only temporarily, by his evil counterpart - who happens to be quite fat.

Now while the story ended up with the "evil" doubles choosing to return to the side of good, this is a different, darker ending.

Evil SU Sonic foiled his good counterparts' plans, soon devouring SU Sonic Prime - whole and alive - in revenge for having the nerve to consume his supply of chili dogs. That only made the fat King even fatter. And soon he ate SU Sonic's siblings Sonia and Manic... and then his own siblings as well. With 5 whole hedgehogs crammed into his paunch, the evil Sonic soon found himself endowed with incredible power and capability. He inherited the powers of the real SU Sonic group... and the negative qualities of the evil group. He gained the vanity of evil Sonia, the greed of Evil Manic, and he had his own gluttony and laziness. It'd be only safe to assume that he would have envy, wrath and lust somewhere in his rotund frame.

Packed with power and sin, Evil Sonic underwent an enormous transformation. He found himself transformed green, thanks to the absorption of two Manics into his being. He retained some blue via his eyes, a hint to his true identity. And finally, he was sure to suppress Sonia's color schemes, though these simply transferred over to his super form.

This new being considered himself a weapon - or scourge - from the Mobian Gods, sent to discipline the Mobians. Evil Sonic rechristened himself King Scourge, and initiated a reign of terror across all of Mobius.

...But of course, given that SU was itself a spin off another Mobius, which had it's own anti-Mobius... chances were there was not just one great evil Sonic, but a second one - the first Scourge. Heaven help all Mobiuses if the two were to ever meet.
