A commission for ~mquezada88 This two part series is a prequel to the Vare/Ashworth one!Vare decides he wants to see if he can absorb Maro's power by eating him. Given that he grows stronger by absorbing magical energy and Maro's a mage, it's not too hard to see why he'd think this.
Maro's hesitant of course, being digested isn't one's idea of a vacation. ...unfortunately, his creation doesn't seem too interested in listening.
