So for the next 10 days ...I am challenging myself to drawing something rainbow themed and i am posting the drawings daily ......this is the first which i have named "rainbow power"STAY TUNED FOR TOMORROW'S PIECE!!

Girl, you continue to outdo yourself! This is beyond gorgeous! That hair has got to be some of the best you've ever done! I love the shape of it, and the shades of each color give it this lovely pastel appearance! I love the way it seems to float about her so weightless and effortless in it's beauty! The curls are so adorable, especially those pieces that her framing her face! As always I love the highlights! They give the hair such a glossy look and it's so amazing! Her face is so serene looking. It gives the piece such a calming effect. Like she's teaching some kind of relaxation class! I love the shape of her eyes and how gently they are closed. Her lashes are just barely resting and it's so soft and lovely. The eyeshadow looks amazing! The way you drew the shoulders is so petite and alluring, the hand is super cute! Amazing piece all around Nitasha!

You're always welcome! Yeah, I know how you feel. I'm starting to wish someone had mailed me a slap when I decided to do this "draw every day" challenge. Maybe every other day would have sufficed. But in any case, the practice is doing me good. Your challenge was much tougher in that you had to do 10 completed pieces in a row! I would NEVER take that on. It just takes too much time to make a drawing from start to finish. You've got more brass than me girl! In any case, you know you always have my support hon!

....you know ...i don't think i will ever do that artist "insanity" to my self EVER again! XD If it wasn't for friends like you i probably would have been crying my eyes out half way though!!! ....and hey ...if it ever gets to overwhelming during your challenge .....don't be ashamed to take a break!
It is very healthy to give your mind a rest every now and then to recollect itself.... i do it all the time ...and you are not technically throwing in the towel!

I still think I need a slap. I didn't even draw yesterday and spent most of today beating myself up for it. But you know, at the end of the day, it's still okay. I've actually been trying not to stress myself out over it. If I miss a day here and there, I'll be okay. The main idea is to keep up a steady practice habit so I won't go months and months without drawing anything like I used to. That's no way to get better. As far as that challenged you did goes, I don't blame you! I wouldn't do that either. I'd be like two days in and I'd be sitting on my floor bawling like a baby going "WHY DID I DO THIS???" I personally don't think I have the dedication it takes to do what you did. You should still be patting yourself on the back for that!

Wow, it seems so long since we had this conversation. I haven't even touched my blog in months. Definitely not since we moved. I really hate it too because I felt like I was really improving my drawing skills by making myself draw every day. I've wanted to start up again, but with the baby coming there's no way I'll be able to pull that off. I might as well just wait until things settle down a bit.
