Description
Captain Fariel Luvera is the commanding officer of the Lady Kiavyra, a Daggoroh-class Corvette. She, her ship, and her crew of thirty-three souls are assigned to the Tarana System Defense Fleet under the Avrora Void Guard. Their primary duties include taking part in anti-piracy missions, system patrol, and the occasional asteroid defense.

While Fariel was born as a noble in the predominantly elven-populated feudal world of Arcturus, her path led her to join the military. Having been accepted in the Avrora Void Guard, a branch of the Avrora Navy that patrols and defends the controlled systems of the Avrora Republic, she had gone on to start a career and easily climbed the ranks to be a ship captain due to her use of unorthodox tactics and skills in ship logistics. She also earned a reputation as an officer who only follows orders in the barest sense, exercising freedom at a tactical level that is often not offered to her by her commanding officer. This has resulted in her clashing with multiple commanding officers and landed her in her most recent assignment to the backwater system of Tarana, home to the Tarana colony which also boasts a primarily elven population.

Note: Fariel is a player character of mine in a DnD campaign that was reused as an NPC in our United Aurora Federation Starsector-inspired Starfinder campaign.
