AH HA! *Snrk* I finally figured out what he reminds me of so...
Kaori Yuki is pro'lly one of my favorite artists, next to Brom and the Michaels fiend who does all those fiendish paintings. One example would be the li'l blowin' bubbles off the top of this building and this gargoyle leapin' out to catch one... *dreamy sigh* Gah, such beauty. Eeep! I'm prattling. MY POINT WAS: your style reminds me of a slightly more defined Kaori Yuki. This character especially--if you ever get the chance to read "Boys Next Door" and are in one of those moods, do so--reminds me of Lawrence. The hair, the expression, the general bishonen-type. Even his hands. ^^
And onto the image itself: there's simple not enough simplicity. The symbolism of the feather ties in a lot of the story together, his expression, exsquitely tragic yet oddly boyish and endearing, his hair is just *drool*. If you did use references, then sweet christ, I can't imagine how wonderful your still-lifes are and if you didn't, you just become some deity or another. Absolutely wonderful. Besides, who doesn't enjoy the blatant use of make-up and blasphemous jewelry?

heheheh, I think the pose is right, I based on a photo.
The problem must be the composition, I think I have a problem of simetry. I told that to you once. I have always to watch out or I'll do one side very different from another. I tend to " compress" the elements of the right side.

He's very cute! Red heads are a weakness of mine, that they are. I think the pose on this is lovely, and your style is very pretty. I also love the detail in the feather as odd as that seems. Lovely job!
