The latest DLC character for Skullgirls, Eliza, will be officially be making a [bloody] splash for Steam and PS3 on September 30th!Skullgirls has really inspired me with its artwork, but I can't say I'm very good at the game (mostly not enough practice ). That being said, I'm down for casuals on either PC or PS3 if anybody wants to take me on!

Skullgirls is definitely in my top 3 as far as fighting games go (the other spots going to Smash Bros. and Virtua Fighter). I like that you can see the game as it's being made, and all the changes it goes through. As a result, I've learned a lot about how games are developed, and it's inspired me to try new things with my own artwork.

It's a lot like Marvel vs Capcom, but there are no "weak" characters in this game; each one is a beast. You can also pick your team size, so if you just want to use one super strong character against your opponent's team of three, you can do that.
The game costs $15 because the full roster isn't in the game yet. It starts with 9 characters, and each DLC character is $5(there are two of them at the moment). However, buying the game on PC will also give you access to the Beta, where you can use all of the available roster, including the DLC characters and the ones still in development (so you can try them out in the Beta before deciding to buy them in the full game). Also, when a new DLC character is released, they are FREE to download for the first 3 months after release. This new character, Eliza, will be free when she comes out (and there are two more after her).
It's up to you whether you want to grab it during a Steam sale (which was what I did because I already had it on PS3), but for such a solid game I feel it's a fair price.

The game has a story mode and a really good tutorial to ease you into the game (there's actually a tutorial for each character that explains to you their strengths, which is something I haven't seen in any other fighting game). Other than that, it has the replayability you would expect of a fighting game. The online mode is pretty smooth because it uses GGPO for the network.

Lol! Sakia hasn't changed too much, but now that you mention it, I really haven't drawn my OCs in a good while; maybe they will get some tweaks.
