I always loved the wildness of the Trapar waves in Eureka 7. I love watching the Nirvash reffing around even more. The Trapar is like a raw, ethereal force that can be barely contained, and that's the feel I was going for.This was a speedpaint in Photoshop CS2, done at Otakon 2006, so it's not exactly finished quality. I may get to it someday though.

Really I think, and others do too that the dub is pretty good. Bosch settled into Renton's role after a few episodes and lost much of the annoying nasal inflection he had early on. Currently it's almost over on Adult Swim- next is episode 47. Cool paint, btw.

It aired in Japan from '05 to '06, IIRC...it was a hit in Japan, but apparently from what I'm hearing the crappy English dubs ruined things for the NA audience. Which totally, completely sucks ass because it's such a good show.

Eureka 7 is a good anime, and I too love the reffing part mostly from the series. Keep up the good work! And yes, Spec 2 would be bad ass, that or Sumner's 505.

Yes! Totally do the Devilfish. That is one thing the anime lacked, more scenes of Roland piloting the Devilfish.

I think moving all the anime to midnight isn't helping -- that and the show itself is very slow to take off. I had considered dropping it, but was patient for probaly 10 episodes more than the average anime viewer these days. I really enjoyed it once they hit their stride around episodes 11-15.
