This picture was taken from my last trip to Vancouver, at the fisherman's wharf across from the city's downtown core.Not a whole lot else to say ... I just kind of like it, for once ... XD
Taken with Kodak E100 film, 28-105mm lens at 105, circular polarizer. (Yay for slides!)

It certainly is a beautiful place! One of the nicest cities I've been to, actually ... I really like it. The harbour was just too weird ... it's surrounded by the city on 4 sides, and then right in the middle of all of it there's this little harbour ...
Quaint, quiet, and beautiful ... a really interesting mix with the city ...

Wow... that is awesome! Nice view and angle... but geez Vancouver is bright!!! XD...damn them and their 'no winter' ^_^... just one thing... since u would like advanced critique, i'm not an expert on photography... but even though the tones distribute evenly... i'm getting an impression of just a little too much bare sky in the picture... but maybe that's just me... other than that... me like!!

Indeed, it was quite bright that day! And actually quite cold, although the lack of winter conditions is certainly a plus! Thanks for the critique as well! The sky was actually supposed to be left in somewhat of a blank condition with about equal area to that of the city below, just to improve the visual contrast. Without the balance of the blank sky above, the details of the city become rather indistinct. And while it may seem rather odd for a picture like this, it looks better with the sky like that than without it! Thanks so much for the critique, though! I'm glad someone besides Josh has even mentioned the fact that I put the advanced critique tag on it, let alone left me a critique! Thanks so much!

Wow I do not know how this could get any better honestly, I mean even the smallest details seem to fit just right! The fence lines up with boats that are all symmetrical to eachother, the cityscape features the tallest buildings centered, freespace is used to counteract the crowded detail of the city...just wow, I saw we have a perfect score!
