Two of my characters Featherflurry (silver tabby) and Peonyshine (white). They're both she-cats who reside in Cedarclan.
Featherflurry's had a crush on Peonyshine ever since they were apprentices. There was never a chance for her to tell her, especially when Peony was a young warrior, and fell in love with a tom named Perchthroat, a new warrior from Swampclan. Feather didn't know about this until she caught Peony leaving camp at night to meet with him. She was jealous and highly concerned because not only was Peony breaking the warrior code, but Swampclan and Cedarclan have been rivals for many seasons. Feather reported it, and yet the leader at the time, Eaglestar, told her to watch their relationship instead of approaching Peony about it. (Eagle wasn't exactly the best leader and his deputy Orchidbark had a better mind and a stricter opinion but didn't get to enact it.)
Two moons later, it was discovered that Peony became pregnant and Feather was furious when she found out. It wasn't her anger that caused trouble however; one thing led to another between Swampclan and Cedarclan, and Perch is killed by Feather after he fiercely provoked her.

After the battle, Feather broke the news to Peony, and she was devastated- even more so when Feather killed him. Feather gave her reasoning and did her best to comfort the expecting mother. It took moons until Peony was able to even forgive Feather, but once the kits were born, she found herself able to forgive, as the kind and loving cat she was. The two became closer, resulting in mutual affection later on before ultimately becoming mates. Feather became the proud second mother of Peachkit, Wheatkit, and Aspenkit.

Peonyshine, in all honesty, never intended to forgive Featherflurry because Perchthroat was her first ever love, and he's still a cat she thinks of, but one of her flaws is being too nice. Along with that and the fact that she and Feather are in the same clan, she wasn't able to hate her forever, and having spent so much time with her caused her to fall for the larger she-cat. I just wanted to make that part clearer because I feel people will take it the wrong way.
Also, Feather is suppose to be one of the biggest cats in the clan, so just pretend that she a bit more bigger.

I tried to explain as much as I could; their whole story isn't all there yet but this is the gist of it.
