Not quite sure what they do but I think they cut their balls of, to avoid reproduction and their sexual orientated moods. It's common thing to be done here for "stray cats". I don't think it's fair, but I couldn't do anything about it as both of them were already castrated by the time we got them.

people here are barbaric and cruel when it comes to animals ya know...
poor stray cats here are getting fried, literally, or poisoned, and other stuffs I don't wanna discuss more.

Not like the life of many cats is much better here either. A lot of families take a summer cat, which they basically take care over the summer. Once the winter comes the cat is alone and unless rescued by someone will die slowly through the winter. There are also people who shoot, poison, torture etc. stray cats out there.
The winter will kill pretty much any cat that is not taken care of. The coldness, lack of food will surely kill them off slowly but surely unless they are lucky enough to find a place to stay with enough food to get through the winter. Nevertheless their life isn't all too nice and they might lose body parts to the cold.
This is the reason why the cats get castrated in Finland. Cat population is rather large and people don't understand the responsibility that comes with taking a cat. To make this even better the animal shelter here is filled with idiots who don't think about the good of the cats either. Yes, I've dealt with them before so I can truly say that they're idiots and I personally don't want to have anything to do with them after that one time. By the way, this goes for two countries not just Finland. Germany didn't do much better than Finland in this department.

Cruel, not cruel. I don't think it really matters when it's about animal abuse. The lesser cruelty doesn't make it any better in my eyes. They should just all be smurfed!

You're forgetting the winter, aren't you? Finish winter is pretty much deadly to the cats. Unable to find food, shelter and warmth they generally die without human care. A slow death of freezing to death.

From the local supermarket? Pig hearts are found in most stores in Finland. Even the a small location where I live has them. Nothing special here.

No. The organs of the animal are the most nutrient parts. The current humans are simply disgusted by them. They don't eat them but instead they go for the lean muscle meat.

Yes, we can buy different organs from the store. I've seen hearts, liver, tongue and kidneys. Probably more to be found. I just haven't been able to see them.

What is done to them? Hopefully, the food is not wasted. Blood can be bought as well. Especially reindeer blood can be found easily.

well, I dunno if anyone wants those kinda organs~~~even blood I mean~~~you know, the contaminants hazardous to blood...so...yeah...
maybe animals there are way cleaner... even chicken blood here, you get a risk of some kind of skin rashes if you in contact with a chicken blood.

When I was young I was pretty fond of liver. My mom made a sauce with liver slices. I've been wanted to try to cook liver myself. Not daring to attempt it as I'm not quite sure how to cook it. Organs are much harder to cook than muscle meat.
Liver should still be clean. To my understanding it's the cleanest organ in the human body. Yes, it cleans out toxins but it doesn't store them. A lot of vitamins are in there too.
Staying away blood that can harm you is smart.
