Description
Structural glass, smart glass, digital interface revolution, and thin shell structure technology are explored in the generation of this work. The implications of digital design for the physical world are that these realities may augment and enrich one another. Just as the unconditioned world may be used as a starting point for the design of the conditioned world "landscape first design", so "digital first design" may be used as a starting point in exploring what may be made real to the physical sensory experience through augmented reality technology and the refinement and innovation of material technology. While this building may be built to be experienced in it's present form with todays technology, the resolution at which this experience may be achieved in a combination of physical and augmented reality forms will only increase with time.
