Following up Deathwing with more Deathwing because why not.In a way this piece is a bit of a recreation of a 'world of warcraft' painting I saw in an art magazine. the idea of the painting was to potray a dragon that was so hot the ocean around him was evaporating, the chalange was how to do that without obsuring the dragon in steam.Β
This WAS my attempt at recreating that, only theres about a 1/10 of the steam I was planing on adding. #1 the steam wasn't looking that good, #2 I spent an 2 hours longer than I ment to detailng the water and I didn't want to lose all that in steam.
All in all, I met my goal half way and ended up with a pretty dang satisfying picture.
