Um. . . That's no lobster. If this is taken in kaikoura (or near there) It's a crayfish. There's a diffrence.
Being a local of Kaikoura i can tell you that if you bought that, you were ripped off.
It's extreamly small for a half.
They taste better fresh anyway.
Anyway, im sure this photo has been taken somewhere around Nin's Bin? The small caravan that sells crayfish.

i confess, i knew it was a crayfish but liked the title better with "lobster". just like when buying tulips in amsterdam, i'm sure i was ripped off and not getting the best product anyway, but one has to do these things- it's the experience more than the material itself, i think
