Angels are a race of semi-spiritual entities which serve the Maker and act as his messengers and, sometimes, soldiers.

Angels may change their appearance at will but their "daily" form usually resembles a winged humanoid with a halo or a glowing aura. They are almost universally beautiful and give mortals the feeling of warmth and serenity by simply being near them. The true form, however, varies from angel to angel. It is usually very grotesque and strikes a mixture of awe and admiration in hearts of mortals.

Angels are the embodiment of law and order, an antipode of demons who tend to be chaotic. Despite this, these two groups don't conflict each over, though this might be because of the lack of interactions between them. There are, however, some angels that get along with demons pretty well. Angels can also be described as compassionate and caring beings. Sometimes, they visit mortal domain as invisible spirits in order to help mortals by giving them inspiration for the great deeds or pieces of art. Though they rarely present themselves before mortals and appear openly only by the order from their creator. Angels can also heal souls. If they notice a soul of the deceased person which is damaged or for some other reason can't find peaceful afterlife, they can offer it their help. Some souls, however, are doomed to suffer due to the malignant will of the Maker and angels don't help those ones even if they were innocent in life. Even though they are lawful good creatures, when they have to choose between law and good, angels will always choose the former.

Despite being much less numerous than demons, angels are in general more powerful. While demons have in their ranks weaklings such as imps, all angels are very powerful and can compete with top echelons of demonic hierarchy. While demons originate from both Redrift and Enirath, all angels originate from Redrift, some just moved to another universe by the order of the Creator.
