Okay, so let me get this straight. Lu (which is what I call Sheeta) is the main heroine, yet after knocking out Muska in the opening scene, her roles are mainly getting captured, being the key to opening up Laputa, being dragged around by Pazu, and trying and failing to beat the henchmen. Meanwhile, Captain Dola is a septuagenarian woman who is the leader of a pirate crew, and takes an active role in lots of adventures.
She totally upstaged Lu during Castle in the Sky.

Oh, yeah, Dola rocks! One of Cloris Leachman's best performances, Dola's one of my favorite characters in the movie Castle in the Sky. I love her characteristics and personality.

Oh definitely for sure. I love Cloris Leachman's Dola. Every second of her performance. She and Muska are THE reasons that CitS is GREAT in English—well, maybe not the only reasons, but definitely they're the biggest stars.
