I've been working on my manuscript for my novel and I came up with two new characters while revamping an old one. < v >
Here we have Almeric, Olin and Marik, three very early characters in the book. They are part of a rebellion group Sariah is in during the first part of the story.
Here's a horrifically old image of Marik:

Almeric - (38 years old) A burly guy who doesn't mind causing a bit of trouble. He was once a soldier when he was younger. His face is heavily scarred with pockmarks due to a disease he contracted while fighting on foreign soil. He is currently the leader of a minor division of the rebellion nationalist group, The Flames of Orion.

Olin - (25 years old) Cousin of Almeric. He is a strong supporter of the rebellion. He likes to get the job done quickly and isn't afraid to kill anyone who stands against his ideals.

Marik - (26 years old) Although a foreigner, he shares the same ideals as the other members of his group and will do anything to stop the regime of the current empress. He has expertise with the bow and can play the lute. He almost always seems to keep his cool.
